Horse-friendly parks: Time to get out of the show ring

Most horse owners, like myself, love the idea of getting their best friend out of the ring and taking them on an adventure. Trail riding is becoming more popular within the horse community and some of us are very lucky to have trails in our farm’s backyard. We are also blessed with the Cleveland Metroparks and Lake Metroparks for those who don’t have such easy access. Both parks systems have several parks that include bridle paths aka horse-friendly trails.

Below are a few of the horse friendly parks:
