West Side Market parking: It’ll cost you starting Feb. 27

Paid parking at the West Side Market will begin Feb. 27, according to an announcement from the City of Cleveland.

The first 90 minutes of parking are free from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. After that, those who are parking will pay $1 an hour or a maximum of $10 a day, according to the city. The parking lot will be open 24/7.

How can you pay for parking? You can use a credit card as you exit, or by cash or credit at the Pay on Foot machine, according to the city. Tickets will be given upon parking lot entry and are required for exit.

The city has recently improved the West Side Market parking lot, adding 100 more spaces as well as lighting.
