The newest class entering the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will be inducted next month during a ceremony at the Rock Hall in Cleveland. Members of this year’s class are Bon Jovi, The Cars, Dire Straits, The Moody Blues, Nina Simone and Sister Rosetta Tharpe (Award for Early Influence).
You can learn a bit more about the artists to be inducted, as well as some other rock ‘n’ roll trivia, during a March 20 program at the Orange Branch of the Cuyahoga County Public Library. Jason Hanley of the Rock Hall and Daniel Goldmark, director of the Center for Popular Music Studies at Case Western Reserve University, will speak from 7 to 8:30 p.m. For more information and to register, visit attend.cuyahogalibrary.org/event/627376.
