When: 1-2:30 p.m. April 21

Why you should go: April is National Poetry Month. Literary Cleveland and the Cleveland Museum of Art partnered to present a two-part workshop on ekphrasis, or poetry about art. Workshop participants will be reading their ekphrastic poetry during the April 21 open mic. You can enjoy the ekphrastic poetry, or even share some of your own. And while you’re at the museum, you can view the many free exhibit halls.

How much: Free. Admission to the museum is also free; special exhibits may cost extra.
