What: Bouquets Wine Tasting
Where: Holden Arboretum, 9500 Sperry Road, Kirtland
When: 5 to 7:30 p.m. June 2
How much: $70 for members, $90 for nonmembers and $35 for designated drivers. The price includes 12 tasting tickets, free parking, take-home Holden wine glass sampler, take-home bottle of wine, food and live entertainment. Proceeds support the continued development and care of the Helen S. Layer Rhododendron Garden and the Paine Rhododendron Discovery Garden.
Why you should go: You’ll enjoy wine and spring blooms at Holden Arboretum. Wear your walking shoes and dress for the weather. Move throughout the garden while you enjoy the wine, food and flowers.
What you should eat/drink: The event will include more than 60 regional, domestic and international wines. Food to accompany the tasting will be from Bon Appetit, Ianiro’s Imported Foods, Chefs for Hire Catering, Culinaire Pavane, Great Lakes Cheese, The Olive and the Grape and Mom’s Gourmet.
