The installation was a collaboration of the City of Cleveland, Downtown Cleveland Alliance and North Coast Harbor Stakeholders, according to a news release.

IMG_0059-2The two courts are 12 feet wide by 60 feet long and located at the southeast corner of the park directly outside of Nuevo Cleveland’s patio, according to the release. The courts open to the public the week of May 21 and are available on a first come, first served basis. Those who want to use the courts should bring their own bocce sets. Later in the summer, Nuevo Cleveland will provide the use of bocce sets to their patrons for a refundable fee.

Lakefront Leagues will be using the bocce courts on Wednesday evenings from Aug. 1 through Sept. 19. For more information on Lakefront Leagues and bocce registration, visit
