Did you know that National Hamburger Day is May 28?
You might have plans to celebrate without even knowing it, considering this year the holiday falls on Memorial Day.
If you don’t have plans, Punch Bowl Social has a suggestion for you. From a news release:
Punch Bowl Social will be open for regular hours and serving two delicious burger options: The Knockoff Burger features two grass-fed, hormone-free beef patties, Punch Bowl Social’s comeback sauce, pickled onion, lettuce and American cheese on a sesame seed bun—which may sound familiar, but it’s Punch Bowl Social’s own creation. For something a little less “meaty,” but just as satisfying, try the Impossible Burger, which is 100% vegetarian (and vegan if you order it without cheese) but upholds the same burger-eating experience. Pair with a cold brew or sharable punch. Since it’s a holiday, you’ll have plenty of time after your meal to bowl a few games, play vintage video games, or try your aim during a round of corn hole, Skee-ball or darts. Reservations recommended by calling 216-239-1508.
Punch Bowl Social is at 1086 W. 11th St., Cleveland.
Another burger option to keep in mind: Melt’s Old Skool Burger Season continues through June. Melt locations will be closed on Memorial Day, but we here at Food and Fun recommend you celebrate National Hamburger Day anytime you want. How can you limit such a delicious holiday to one day a year?
