Matus Winery is a family-owned, award-winning rustic winery with new flavors, a new pavilion and a loft for private parties, all in the middle of the vineyard.
Manager Kellie Foster says the biggest draw is the atmosphere, with seating for about 150 people inside and 150 outside in the pavilion with a bonfire, speakers and live bands on weekends.
The signature wine is Purple Haze, a sweet Concord and Niagara blend.
On Fridays and Saturdays wood-fired pizza is available, along with wings and appetizers.
Another new addition is homemade soup, with savory flavors such as tomato bisque, ham and corn chowder, chili and more. Also, 2017 provided the “best grape harvest ever” for Matus Winery. which opened in 2006.
