A grand opening for Chagrin River Diner is in June for a breakfast and lunch crowd in downtown Willoughby by owners Kirk Swanson and James Turcotte, and Chef Arturo Batista Cervantes.
Fare includes breakfast options such as brioche french toast, breakfast tacos, eggs Benedict and unique egg variations.
For lunch, the menu offers old world recipes such as Reuben, corned beef and Italian grinder, as well as burgers, fish and turkey club. Or add soups and salads, such as soup de jour, seafood bisque and house or kale salads.
The diner will be open 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. seven days a week, with specials from 5 to 9 a.m. Monday through Friday. A ribbon-cutting is scheduled for 9 a.m. June 14.
