Symon and Guarnaschelli will give an interactive dinner preparation. Additionally, Symon and James and Jennifer Sammon will be honored for their support of Austism Speaks. Silent and live auctions will be part of the fun.
When: July 28. A cocktail reception and Cleveland chef tasting will be 7 to 8:15 p.m. The interactive dinner preparation by Symon and Guarnaschlli will be 8:30 to 10 p.m.
Why you should go: Over 20 Cleveland chefs will be offering small plates of their fare, including the likes of Jonathon Sawyer and Rocco Whalen. Eating fine food in the beautiful setting of the Cleveland Museum of Art sounds like an excellent way to spend a Friday evening.
Plus, it’s a gala to benefit Autism Speaks. Autism affects 1 in 59 children in the U.S., according to a news release. It’s a general term used to describe a group of complex developmental brain disorders, characterized by communication difficulties, social and behavioral challenges, and repetitive behaviors. Autism Speaks is dedicated to funding research into the causes, prevention, treatments and a cure for autism; increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders; and advocating for the needs of individuals with autism and their families.
How much: $250, of which $175 is tax-deductible
