2nd and High Social House in Cleveland is a low-key, off-the-beaten path spot

What: 2nd and High Social House, a cozy-but-not-cramped cocktail bar and restaurant.

Where it’s located: 2123 E. Second St. Cleveland, at East Second Avenue and High Street, a short walk from Quicken Loans Arena, East Fourth Street, and JACK Casino Cleveland.

When it’s open: 4 p.m. to close Monday; 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. to close Tuesday through Friday; 4 p.m. to close Saturday and noon to 9 p.m. Sunday.

Why you should go:  2nd and High’s menu offers a variety of unique food and cocktail optionsIf you want a low-key, off-the-beaten path spot at which to relax and fill up, especially if you want your bar food on the slightly-healthier side, it’s a fine choice.

What you should eat: The 2High Fries, covered with herbs and garlic and served with aioli and ketchup, quickly earned approval. The Lobster Tacos, topped with chipotle sauce, were also enjoyable.
