Where it’s located: 326 New Fourth St., on the southwest corner of New Fourth Street and Plum Street in Fairport Harbor.

When it’s open: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday; 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.

Why you should go: There are plenty of comparable places in this category of restaurants that take the same approach, but solid food overall at a very good value make Rego’s Brickhouse Pizza a pretty great neighborhood restaurant.

What you should eat: The spaghetti-and-meatball dinner for four, which includes a huge salad, garlic bread, a hefty serving of spaghetti and 12 meatballs, is sure to please a family of any size. The sauce, which is made fresh daily with a good balance of sweetness and a strong tomato flavor, was the highlight of the dinner.
