Cause & Effect Festival comes to University Circle

Dan Moulthrop, CEO of The City Club of Cleveland, and Shenise Johnson-Thomas, chief of external relations and development at Cleveland Public Library, will be among the guest speakers at the Cause & Effect Festival on Toby’s Plaza in Cleveland from noon to 5 p.m. July 21.

The free event, presented by University Circle Inc., offers attendees a chance to meet with several nonprofit and activist organizations in Cleveland as well as enjoy music and giveaways.

According to a news release, the following organizations will be on hand:

  • ACLU of Ohio (American Civil Liberties Union)
  • Case Western Reserve University Bookstore (Pop-up bookstore)
  • Circle Health Services
  • Cleveland Browns (Give Back / First & Ten)
  • Cleveland Rape Crisis Center
  • Cleveland VOTES
  • Northeast Ohio Voter Advocates
  • Emerald Development & Economic Network (EDEN)
  • Greater Cleveland Food Bank
  • LGBT Cleveland Community Center
  • March for our Lives Cleveland
  • March For Science: Cleveland
  • Maximum Accessible Housing of Ohio
  • NAMI Greater Cleveland (National Alliance on Mental Illness)
  • The Refugee Response
  • The Centers For Families and Children
  • University Circle Inc. / Uptown In The Circle
