Riki Rachtman visiting Melt in Independence for Stop Soldier Suicide benefit

TV and radio personality Riki Rachtman will be visiting the Melt Bar and Grilled Independence location July 27 on his yearly cross-county motorcycle ride for charity, according to a news release.

RikiRides18 will benefit Stop Soldier Suicide, which provides mental health and PTSD referrals, emergency financial aid, housing assistance and alternative therapies for military, veterans and their families, according to the release. Rachtman’s goal this year is to ride 18,000 miles though the U.S. to raise money and awareness for this important organization.

RikiRides18 will be 5 to 11 p.m., with Rachtman and world-famous tattoo artist, model and star of Season 1 of “Ink Masters” Lea Vendetta mingling, taking pictures and signing autographs from 7 to 10 p.m., according to the release.

The fun with Rachtman and Vendetta doesn’t stop there. You also can bid on a once-in-a-lifetime eBay auction to join them at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on July 28. The winner will get to take three friends and hear stories from Rachtman about working with many of the acts on display and enshrined in the Rock Hall.
