‘The Knock Out’ car show cruise-in in Amherst benefits Power 4 Pink

The fourth annual “The Knock Out” car show cruise-in benefits Power 4 Pink, an Amherst nonprofit organization that helps women in need pay for cancer treatment options.

A slogan is they’re improving access to health care for people in Lorain County, one punch at a time.

The event is 1 to 4 p.m. Aug. 19, hosted by Rebman Recreation in the north lot at 5300 Oberlin Ave. in Lorain.

Free entry for cars brings a wide variety each year.

A Best in Show prize is $100 cash and a 5-foot trophy on display at GenFed Financial at 5320 Oberlin Ave. in Lorain. Ten trophies will be awarded.

The event also includes food, drinks, Chinese raffles, music and bowling.
