Geauga Library plans monthly film discussions

The Geauga County Public Library is launching a film-discussion group that will meet the first Thursday of the month at 2 and 7 p.m. at the Bainbridge Branch. Film enthusiasts can pick up the film of the month at the library, view ahead of time and join fellow movie buffs for a discussion about the movie’s topics.

The schedule:

  • Sept. 6: “Titanic” and “A Night to Remember”
  • Oct. 4: “Sweeney Todd” (stage and screen versions)
  • Nov. 1: “Planes, Trains and Automobiles”
  • Dec. 6: “It’s a Wonderful Life”
  • Jan. 3: “Lifeboat”
  • Feb. 7: “Imitation of Life”
  • March 7: “Singin’ in the Rain”
  • April 4: “Life, Animated”
