Take the ‘long way’ with Brett Eldredge Sept. 28

What: Brett Eldredge: The Long Way Tour

Where: Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica

When: 7:30 p.m. Sept. 28

Why you should go: In my opinion, Eldredge is one of the most fun people in country music right now. Those who follow him on social media know not only does he have the voice and the looks, his humor makes him the complete package (not to mention his love for dogs, including that of his equally famous pup, Edgar).

His slow romantic tunes like “Mean to Me” make any heart melt. He also has upbeat songs like “Something I’m Good At” that you can feel good jamming along to. I saw him open for Keith Urban in 2016 and thought he was an enjoyable performer that engaged the crowd. Eldredge is taking the reins and is headlining his first national tour this year with opening performances by Devin Dawson.

How much: Joining Brett will cost you between $25 and $110. Find tickets here.

How to get more information: You can find more information on the concert’s Facebook page or on Eldredge’s website

My song choice: I am a sucker for an upbeat love song, and one of Eldredge’s first singles, “Drunk on Your Love,” fits that description perfectly. It will have you smiling and singing along in no time.
