Add Cher to the ever-growing list of performers slated to do their things at Quicken Loans Arena after it reopens in a couple of weeks, following work to update the nearly 24-year-old downtown Cleveland venue.
The singer-actress at one time was one half of the duo Sonny & Cher and who very recently appeared in the feature film “Mamma Mia 1 Here We Go Again.”
Her Cher-ness is borrowing from that film with the title of her tour: “Here We Go Again.”
Her first cross-country jaunt in five years, according to a news release from concert promoter Live Nation, will bring her to The Q on Feb. 6.
As a bonus, those forking over dough for tickets will be able to redeem a digital or physical copy of her new album, “Dancing Queen.” Keeping with “Mamma Mia” and the band Abba, the album is — you guessed it — a collection of covers of the Swedish pop act.
Nile Rodgers and Chic have been named as openers for the tour.
Tickets go on sale Sept. 14. Get more information at this page for Quicken Loans Arena.
