What: Corn & Pumpkin Festival 2018
Where: Lake Metroparks Farmpark, 8800 Euclid Chardon Road, Kirtland 44094
When: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 6, 7, 13 and 14
Why you should go: In addition to the normal day-to-day happenings at Lake Metroparks Farmpark, the Corn & Pumpkin Festival offers many family-friendly activities that are sure to keep you and your kiddos happy. Help husk, shell and grind the corn, or plow behind draft horses. Young visitors can make their own cornhusk dolls and paint pumpkins, and take mini tractors through the farm maze on the Pedal Tractor Overlook. Other activities include a three-acre “Alien Adventure” corn maze, hay maze, harvest-themed crafts and cooking demonstrations.
How much: Regular Farmpark admission/membership applies: ages 12 to 59, $8; ages 60+, $7; ages 2 to 11, $6; younger than 2 and Farmpark members are free.
