What: 49th annual Huntsburg Pumpkin Festival
Where: 16534 Mayfield Road (at state Routes 528 and 322) in Huntsburg Township

Why you should go: It’s everything pumpkin and that’s the time of year it is! The event includes a pumpkin run, carved and decorated pumpkin show, baking contest, kings and queens contests, giant pumpkin show and classic car show, to name a few things on the schedule. A pancake and waffle breakfast starts at 8:30 a.m.
How much: There is no entrance fee, and all contests, entertainment and attractions are free. There’s free parking and a free shuttle service from the parking areas to the festival grounds from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
