Demonstrations include period cooking, photography, medicine, uniforms, other clothing, artillery fire demonstrations, drinking sarsaparilla, and playing old-fashioned games.
Also, the historic Bacon Home will be open for self-guided tours.
Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy the free event all day while learning about the Civil War period of American history at Mill Hollow at 51211 North Ridge Road near Vermilion.
