What: Geneva Ghoulfest 2018
When: 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Oct. 27
Why you should go: Enjoy some October fun and Halloween activities. The day begins early with a Kiwanis pancake breakfast. Later in the day, be sure to wear your best costume and join in the costume contest. Relax and enjoy the Ghoulfest parade with your family, or get your fill of candy at Trunk and Treat before ending the night with a scary movie. Teens, adults and children with an adult present can watch “Happy Death Day” at the Geneva Recreation Center or the not-so-scary alternative of “Casper” at Geneva United Methodist Church. Throughout the evening, be sure to participate in the Scarecrow Selfie Scavenger Hunt. Get your best selfie with at least seven scarecrows to be entered to win a gift card; take a selfie with 10 scarecrows to get two chances to win.
