Willoughby’s Original Roadhouse traveling an uneven road

What: The space that held Dino’s, a longtime Italian restaurant, now holds the reborn iteration of the Original Roadhouse.

Where: 4145 Route 306, Willoughby

When it’s open: 3 to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 11:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday; closed Sunday.

Why you should go: The service was excellent. In fact, it seems the service is more aligned with the higher-end concept than that of the drop-down Original Roadhouse theme.

What you should eat/drink: Onion rings from the appetizer menu ($6.98) were very solid. They’re whiskey-battered and served with a chipotle sauce that was superb. The Roadhouse burger ($9.95) was very good. It’s a half-pound of beef, made to order and served on a pretzel bun. The toppings that accompanied it certainly seemed fresh.
