When it’s open: Saturday, March 2 10 am – 12 pm

Why you should go: Join the Cleveland Museum of Natural History as they celebrate the 100th birthday of resident hero dog, Balto. Learn the story of Balto’s heroic venture; from his legendary serum run during the 1925 diphtheria outbreak in Nome, Alaska, to how he came to call Cleveland home. His special birthday celebration will be packed with “paws-on” fun. Balto’s birthday will also serve as a special ‘Giving Day’ in support of the museum.

How much: General admission for the museum is $17 and $14 for youth (3-18)
