Battle a garlic mustard invasion and make a difference

Tag a group of friends to meet 5-7 p.m. March 13 for an invasive plant species workshop at Carlisle Visitor Center at Carlisle Reservation of Lorain County Metro Parks at 12882 Diagonal Road near LaGrange.

Specifically, learn about garlic mustard and help control the spread of this non-native plant causing problems in area woodlands.
Wear long pants and sturdy shoes for the workshop, according to a website at www.metroparks.cc.
Register, because there are 30 openings for the free class and volunteer opportunity. It’s only what you make it: friends, family, tailgate, picnic. Make a difference and make it fun.
