Canopy Walk and Tower at Holden Arboretum opening

The calendar says spring and the weather is starting to cooperate as well. And that means it’s time for the Murch Canopy Walk and Kalberer Emergent Tower at Holden Arboretum in Kirtland to open for the season.

The attractions are open April 1 to Nov. 1, 2019.

The Murch Canopy Walk, a 500’ long elevated walkway built 65’ above the forest floor, gives you a unique perspective on forests and the animals that inhabit them. The Kalberer Emergent Tower takes you above the trees to a height of 120 feet where on a clear day you can see all the way to Lake Erie, according to a news release.

The attractions are open daily, weather permitting, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the last tickets sold at 4.

Admission is $16 adults; $10 children (3 – 12); free for children 2 and younger and members.
