For more than five seasons, Colin Jost has been a familiar face on “Saturday Night Live,” largely for being the co-anchor of the late-night-TV staple’s “Weekend Update” segments.
(He is also the envy of many a man due to the fact his girlfriend is “Avengers: Endgame” star Scarlett Johansson, but we digress.)
There is no word on whether Johansson will be in the audience (we doubt it … but maybe?) when Jost performs comedy on July 13 in the Center Stage venue of MGM Northfield Park.
Some more information on Jost, who also is a head writer for “SNL,” from a news release from MGM Northfield Park:
Jost has won four Writers Guild Awards, a Peabody Award and has been nominated for multiple Emmy Awards for his writing on “SNL.” He also wrote and starred in the Paramount/Netflix film “Staten Island Summer,” based on his days as a lifeguard growing up in New York. Jost and (Michael) Che also hosted special editions of “Weekend Update” on MSNBC during the 2016 Republican and Democratic national conventions as well as the primetime “Weekend Update Summer Edition” in 2017.
