See family movies for $1 at Regal this summer

Head to Regal on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings this summer and catch $1 movies.

“Summer Movie Express is one of the hottest annual deals Regal offers to its moviegoers. We invite people of all ages to join us for three months of fun and entertainment as we feature family-friendly blockbusters,” said Ken Thewes, Regal’s Chief Marketing Officer, in a news release. “This summer program is the perfect way for families to spend quality time together while enjoying a big screen experience.”

This year’s program will take place at 10 a.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings at participating theaters including Regal Willoughby Commons, 36655 Euclid Ave., Willoughby and Regal Cobblestone Square, 5500 Cobblestone Road, Elyria.

The lineup of ‘G’ and ‘PG’ movies includes:

“Paddington 2,” “Teen Titans Go! To the Movies,” “Despicable Me 3,” “The Lego Movie,” “Smallfoot,” “The Secret Life of Pets,” “The Grinch,” and “Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie.”

A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Will Rogers Institute, which promotes and funds medical research of cardiopulmonary diseases and purchases neonatal ventilator equipment for medical facilities across the country.
