Carlisle Reservation of Lorain County Metro Parks updated a popular Children’s Nature Discovery Trail.metro creative butterfly2 The 0.4-mile trail offers delightful details to make learning active and fun.
Would extra programming help introduce your youngsters to nature?
Two programs are scheduled:

* Log off, naturcise on! is 10:30- 11:30 a.m. and 2-3 p.m. July 20 at Carlisle Reservation Visitor Center at 12882 Diagonal Road in LaGrange.

*Log off, discover on! is 10-11 a.m. and 2-3 p.m. July 24 at Carlisle Reservation Visitor Center.

Are your children elementary school age? Maybe American bald eagles would interest them.
metro creative eagle head* Raptor spotlight: Bald eagle is 2-3 p.m. July 7 at the Carlisle Room at Carlisle Visitor Center. Children need to be accompanied by an adult. No registration is required, but the room caps the size of the audience at 50 people for this free program including a story and craft. And we wonder what else the park rangers plan for the event.
No registration is required for these free opportunities.
