No shrinkage in demand for Seinfeld as second Playhouse Square show announced

How could anyone not like him?

Well, Jerry Seinfeld doesn’t have to worry about where he’s liked in Northeast Ohio. Because tickets for his show Oct. 11 at Playhouse Square already have been scarfed up, a second show has been added, for 9:30 p.m. that day, according to a news release from the Cleveland-based arts organization.

Some background on Seinfeld — who, of course, for many years starred in a wildly popular NBC sitcom that carried his last name — from the release:

Seinfeld has been hailed for his uncanny ability to joke about the little things in life that relate to audiences everywhere. His latest projects include the Emmy nominated web series, Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, and his Netflix special Jerry Before Seinfeld. Seinfeld continues to perform both nationally and internationally.

Tickets for the just-announced show are on sale at or 216-241-6000.
