Dine at the International Women’s Air & Space Museum in honor of Veterans Day

Dinner with a Slice of History is 6:30 p.m. Nov. 8 at the International Women’s Air & Space Museum inside Burke Lakefront Airport at 1501 N. Marginal Road in Cleveland.

The program features a presentation by Stephanie Hanson Caisse, author of “A Corpsman’s Legacy,” and honors the memory of Capt. Jennifer Harris, a casualty evacuation pilot in the Marines.

The cost is $15 for IWASM members and $17 for non-members. RSVP by calling 216-623-1111 or visiting www.iwasm.org.

Adopted at birth, Caisse grew up never knowing her birth parents. However, at age 26, she was forced to find her birth family when she was diagnosed with a congenital illness. She would go on to discover her birth father had been killed in action while serving in the Marines in the Vietnam War, two months before she was born.

The dinner and program honor Veterans Day.
