Attention: Alicia Keys is back in business this year.
Music star Keys — who just hosted the recent Grammy Awards, leading a tribute to the recently deceased Kobe Bryant — announced an upcoming album, “Alicia,” and counterpart tour.

While the tour will play Keys hometown of New York City Aug. 14 with a show at the famed Radio City Music Hall, more important to Northeast Ohio fans will be a gig one week later. “Alicia — The World Tour” will land Aug. 21 at Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica.
“Alicia,” due out March 20, will be the R&B goddess’ seventh album, with the recently released single “Underdog” having already been preceded by album tracks “Time Machine” and “Show Me Love.”
Here’s what a news release from event promoter Live Nation says about the tour:
In addition to new music, Keys will be bringing her classics – from “No One” to “If I Ain’t Got You” to “Girl on Fire” – to life in a special multi-media, artistic experience on the ALICIA – THE WORLD TOUR stage each night. A meditation on love and life, the show will be a true celebration, filled with the magnetic energy that only live music can create.
Tickets already are on sale from Live Nation.
